Lone Mountain Trailhead Details
Before the snow sets in, one of the best ways to experience Lone Mountain in Big Sky, MT., is to hike the Lone Mountain trailhead. This seven-mile out-and-back hike is considered a challenging trek, but if you’re able to make it, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Gallatin National Forest.
