“Dog sledding is an ABSOLUTE MUST, for anyone/everyone! And you must do it with these guys at Spirit of the North! The ride itself was beautiful, and they worked hard to let everyone that wanted to drive have a turn. We were delighted that our three-year-old even got to drive (obviously with the guide) almost the entire way up, and I got an awesome video of that from inside the sled. I got to drive downhill through some exhilarating bumpy turns, and then my husband had a turn. The dogs were friendly. It is quite an operation with 70 dogs pulling seven sleds.” – Natan N.

This was a great adventure! When we got to the camp, we all gathered around the campfire for questions and answers. Then we had an in–service on dog sledding and the different sleds. They asked if you would want to guide your own sled. My husband wanted to guide us. With instruction, my husband did a great job. Our team of beautiful huskies loved to run and travel over snow. I like that they stopped after one hour to let the dogs rest. The owner was very concerned about the dogs! This was a very unique adventure, and we were glad we did it. We had a total of 5 dogs to pull us.” – Jen C.
