1. Big Sky Farmers’ Market
The Big Sky Farmers Market is held every Wednesday from June through August from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The market runs from Fire Pit Park, down along Town Center Avenue, and into the Town Center Plaza by The Wilson Hotel. You’ll find exceptional items at the market, including candles, pickled vegetables, clothing, baked goods, home décor, and more!
2. Music in the Mountains
Music in the Mountains is a beloved family-friendly event, and it’s one of the state’s finest free outdoor concert series. The events occur every Thursday night from June through September at 6 p.m. at Center Stage, located within Big Sky Town Center. Get ready to listen to top-notch artists, such as Mt. Joy, California Honeydrops, and more.
3. Big Sky Biggie

The Big Sky Biggie is a bike race to raise awareness and funds for the mountain bike trails in Big Sky, MT. The event takes place over two days in August and includes a free Kids’ Race for all the little bikers.
4. Big Sky PBR Rodeo
“Big Sky’s Biggest Week,” the Big Sky PBR Rodeo, features three nights of action-packed Touring Pro Division PBR bull riding during July. You can also look forward to fundraisers, a vendor village, and more.
5. The Rut Mountain Runs
The Rut is an outdoor event unlike any other. It’s an international skyrunning competition held every year in Big Sky in September. The event consists of four races, a 50K, 25K, 11K, and Vertical Kilometer—both valid for the Skyrunner World Series.
6. Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
