Mathias is a Bozeman-based singer-songwriter known for his dynamic live performances, percussive guitar style, and powerful vocals. Performing for over two decades across Montana and around the globe, he blends acoustic folk with rock, funk, and Americana in a sound that's both personal and expansive.
In 2010, Mathias released his debut album Walk Alone, recorded with Emmy-winning producer Jeremiah Slovarp. He has since played internationally across Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore, while continuing to tour and write music rooted in the landscapes and communities of Montana. With deep regional roots, an expressive voice, and a rhythmic guitar approach, Mathias crafts performances that are heartfelt, high-energy, and deeply human.
